I just followed you over from Baby Center after leaving you a message regarding the extubation issues.

I went through your blog and read the first few entries on your son's birth and diagnosis. We didn't learn of our son's heart defects until two weeks after he was born. Our pediatrician heard a heart murmur at his two week check up and sent us downed the hall for further testing. We too were devastated to learn that our baby was in heart failure. A few days later we met with a cardiologist and received some very upsetting news. Our precious boy has D-TGA, DORV, VSD, Pulmonary Stenosis and a Right Aortic Arch.

He has endured three open heart surgeries already and faces many more in the future.

We also have a blog at www.whenlifehandsyouabrokenheart.blogspot.com so feel free to stop by. If you need any advice or someone to chat with just give me a shout! I know how very important it is to have someone going through the same thing to talk to.

Praying for your little guy!Stefeniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04278714232697499851noreply@blogger.com
